Berlin

One of the biggest capitals in Europe, Berlin, is a great place to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Every year about one million people gather for countdown to welcome the New Year. The celebration takes place on a ‘Strasse des 17 Juni’ between Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column. The official program start at 12pm. Throughout the whole day there will be a number of live music performances, DJ sets, light and laser shows. The festival area will be full of food stands from all around the world and don’t forget the stands of German beer. At the midnight there will be a spectacular firework show and a whole night to experience the stunning nightlife of Berlin.

Paris

Paris is called the city of love but they also know how to hold an amazing New Years celebration.  The city of light is probably one of the best places you can welcome New Year. The spectacular landmarks, great dining experience, a magnificent light show, great music and much more. The main event is focused around the Champs Elysees and Eiffel tower where the spectacular firework show takes place. There is probably not a person who would not enjoy it.

Brussels

One of the wildest capitals in Europe, Brussels, is hands down the best place to party the night away. For the main event the two places to be are the Place de Brouckere and the Grand place. The venues will have loads of activities including animations on big screens, street theatre, DJs and light/sound shows.

All the clubs are going to be open for the after-parties up until 6 or 7am. 60 DJs in 15 clubs. Endless parties for all tastes all over the capital.

Barcelona

Although Barcelona does not have a long history of organising New Year’s festivities, in the past two years it managed established itself as one the best places to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Taking place next to Montjuic’s Magic Fountain the celebration start at 11pm.  There will be an amazing fountain show and various pyrotechnic displays. After people have welcomed the New Year at midnight- most of them move to pubs and clubs which are largely on the beach. If you do not feel like going clubbing you can cosy up on the sand with a nice glass of Spanish wine. All in all, Barcelona is a place where everyone will enjoy their time.

London

London does not disappoint when it comes to throwing an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration. London comes alive with parties in every corner and a spectacular firework display over the Thames.

If you want to find cheap flight to any of these countries do not forget to do it in advance because the prices will rise very quickly when the holidays start.
