Hailing from the town of Reading, folk-style singer songwriter Ben Marwood is set to release his anticipated third album on April 7th and with it, an imminent tour starting on the 6th of April.
Ben’s previous work has been met with a chain of successes, a sequence which began with his debut album ‘Outside There’s A Curse’ in 2011 and was followed by ‘Back Down’ in 2013, an album which was accompanied by a sold out solo headline tour. Not stopping there, Ben went on to support Frank Turner across the United States, including the unbelievable spectacle of accompanying Frank at his pre-show performance at the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
An Xtra Mile Recording artist, Ben Marwood releases the new album ‘Get Found’ on the 7th of next month. Staying true to his roots, the album has the characteristic Marwood folk-style whilst still being a completely new work of art. The coinciding tour will cover numerous dates including – but most definitely not limited to – a nearby Portsmouth performance on the 8th of April.
Support for the nights will come from fellow Xtra Mile Recording artist Non Canon and Helen Chambers on selected dates (see starred dates for nights Helen will be supporting). For full tour dates and venues, please see below:
