In 2007 Caleb Schomo became keyboardist for a band named Attack Attack! During his time in the group Caleb had been writing songs on the side as an independent expression of his troubled mind. He eventually left the band as due to personal issues. In 2012, joined by guitarists Taylor Lumley and Kam Bradbury, bassist Oshie Bichar, and the band’s original drummer Brandon Mullins, the four became Beartooth, turning Schomo’s written songs into genuine expressions of his musical vision.

Only a year after their formation, Ohio born Beartooth were signed to Red Bull Records and released their debut EP Sick on July 26th. Since then, the band have garnered over 10 million views between their videos The Lines, Beaten In Lips, In Between and Body Bag, with a number of their videos netting upwards of 3 million views a piece. Amongst their accolades, they’ve also toured the globe with other notorious heavy metal heads Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon and Pierce The Veil at numerous festivals as well as performed on renowned stages such as Reading, Leeds, Download and the Vans Warped tour.

Since 2014, Beartooth have released two full length albums, Disgusting in 2014 and Aggressive just this year – an album which they’ll be showcasing on their upcoming worldwide tour. With upwards of 50 dates ranging from Italy to Ireland and Norway to Slovakia, Beartooth have gone from strength to strength, Schomo’s vision finally coming to life expressing issues that are close to his heart.

Amidst all of the countries Beartooth will be performing, Southampton will also be host to the band’s metallic music on December 13th at popular venue Engine Rooms. Previously known as Mo’Club, Engine Rooms was renovated and rebranded in December of 2014 and has since become a hub for popular music performances in the city, previously hosting the likes of Bastille, Mallory Knox and Devin Townsend Project to name a few.
