Another night in Bedford place- not that there aren’t a range of bars and good deals on offer
but it can get a little…samey.
Southampton is a pretty big city. Don’t get me wrong, it’s no London and the clubs certainly
hold no torch to Amnesia or Pasha but there are other places that offer great nights out. A
short bus away is Hamble. Over the last ten years clubs, pubs and restaurants have found
their way along the cobbles and livened up the shore.
The bus is around £5.70 for a day rider and the pick-up is outside West Quay. The journey takes twenty minutes and you’ll be dropped off at the top of the strip, allowing you to take in the range of pubs on offer including, The Bugle, The King and Queen and not forgetting the famous club, Boomerangs.
There’s also Eastleigh which is accessible by bus but a lot quicker by train.

A return ticket with a student card is cheap and the trains run frequently. There’s a range of restaurants
and bars including Nando’s, Frankie and Benny’s and Chimichanga. The location can also
boast a large cinema, a bowling alley and a gigantic play area that can be hired out for adult
sleepovers (alcohol allowed.)
