2017 is looking like a very promising year for Blackpool pop-punk band, Boston Manor. The band kicked off their first headline tour of the year on Monday and this is just the start. Fresh from playing Groezrock Festival (Belgium), the band have more festival performances lined up at Slam Dunk Festival, Reading & Leeds Festival and nearly two months on the Vans Warped Tour so, the band have an exciting year ahead. Thursday May 25th will see Boston Manor headline Bournemouth’s Anvil.
Boston Manor only released their debut album ‘Be Nothing’ last year and have been on the rise since. The band have been on tours supporting the likes Moose Blood, Four Year Strong etc which has given them well-earned exposure to the pop-punk scene. After releasing a number of EPs previously, the album came as a welcome addition and it came at the right time for the band. ‘Be Nothing’ shows that for a young band, they’ve matured and created a very polished first album and it’s gotten a great response.
They’re sure to be playing songs off the album so if you want to go and see a polished first album in performance then make sure to head down to this tour. You can expect circle pits, crowdsurfing and everything that goes into a pop-punk live show. All of this in small venues is going to make for one crazy tour.
The show at Bournemouth’s Anvil will be one of Boston Manor’s smallest performances for the time being, with the venue only holding 100 people. Be sure to head to an intimate show while you still can!
