Electric London 80s Synth-pop duo Erasure (Andy Bell & Vince Clarke) are coming to Southampton next Thursday (the 15th) gracing the Guildhall with colour and sound.

To celebrate releasing the ninth segment of their post-classical album named World Beyond, part of the World Be Gone album series co-produced with a visionary group of composers from Belgium called the Echo Collective, Erasure have debuted their new single, Still It’s Not Over. It explores the deluge of existing with mythical undertones and an empowering perspective on the struggles of overcoming harsh times.

The full album will be released on the 9th of March on one of the last dates of the European tour. After that, this summer they tour North and South America. The band is renowned for its progressive pounding beats and synthetic piano ecstasy. In the past, they’ve achieved incredible feats, including 24 consecutive top 40 hits between the 1980s and the 2000s.

Praised by the LGBT community, due to Andy Bell’s open sexuality, anyone attending this completely sold-out tour will be fond of the band’s iconic equality and belting spirit. The band are joined by legendary performer Bright Light Bright Light, who is assisting in touring a glorification of the soulful greats that inspired the synth-pop generation.

On behalf of OnTheScene we wish anyone attending or involved in this tour a magnifying experience. Enjoy yourselves thoroughly, and we wish you an eye-opening experience full of joy. A corresponding article will follow the Southampton date, complete with review and interview from both performers.
