Introducing ‘Lullaby’ to the world is ‘Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes’. The opening riff is one which could easily be likened to many of the great riffs from MUSE. It is a fast paced low guttural riff which kicks the song off with a real sense of attitude. This song has already started gaining recognition from the musical world, with Annie Mac naming it the hottest track in the world on the 27th September.
Lullaby could be seen as a love child of the ‘Muse’ and ‘Queens of the stone age’. It is a move in a new direction for the band, with vocals which are more refined. Frank Carter describes the thought behind the single as “the track is all about the delirium of sleep deprivation…and how one little smile can make everything ok again”.
