Fun Lovin' Criminals

2016 was an exciting year for the Fun Lovin Criminals. The New York trio spent much of the year celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album Come Find Yourself with a tour across Europe which saw them play at a numerous festivals during the summer.

2016 saw the Fun Lovin’ Criminals cited in the Oxford Dictionary, following the addition of the word “Scooby Snacks” from their hit song, a huge signifier of the cultural impact these boys have had. Looking to keep this momentum going, The ‘Crims’, in true spirit of their Hashtag #LoveYaBack”, are ready to thrill their fans once again with a 14 Venue tour across the UK & Ireland.

The band first arrived on the scene in the mid 90’s stunning the music industry with their unique sound; cocktail of Rock n’ Roll, Funk, Blues, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz and Latin. They wowed the masses with their effortless cool New York Style in Britain during the Brit-Pop era and it saw them gatecrash the UK music scene in a huge way. Their debut album stayed in the chart for an astonishing 100 weeks, with each new release since further cementing their place in music history.

The ‘Crims’ unique sound and satirical take on urban life has earned them an international following and they have become a group held in high regard within the music community. They have played everywhere worth playing, their passion has always been with touring and a core value of always staying true to their fans which make their performances consistently outstanding.

This time promises to be no different with frontman, Huey Morgan, explaining “FLC always bring a Mucho Grande style. In my half Irish, half Puerto Rican vernacular, this means we goin’ BIG. Of course we want everybody to come along for the ride, we wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for the fans. Bigger the party the better, so come join us!”

The Fun Lovin Criminals will be appearing in multiple venues across the UK & Ireland. They’ll be bringing the show to The Engine Rooms in Southampton on February 11th and tickets are on sale now!
