Singer Georgie has announced she’s releasing a new EP this year, consisting of three tracks, called ‘Too Much TV’.

Be the Fire and Wildcat are the other two songs on the Mansfield born singer’s EP. This is Georgie’s second EP after last years Hard Times which also included the song This Ain’t Heaven. You can listen to her debut single Company of Thieves right here.

The story of Georgie

Singing wasn’t always going to be a part of Georgie’s future. Growing up, she dreamed of being a professional footballer but coming across her uncle’s record collection and a guitar soon changed everything. Her career started by performing in pubs on open nights and at times, to the detriment of her academic career. It wasn’t long before she found a new opportunity when she was noted by singer and songwriter Jake Bugg. Her and Bugg have often performed together since.

Last year, at the behest of singer Matthew E. White, Georgie flew out to Virginia in the US to record Company of Thieves. White, infatuated with her talent, has also produced the upcoming track Wildcats. Since then, she’s supported acts like Blossoms and Jack Savoretti. The little girl who once kicked around footballs with the ambitions of being a professional footballer could never have predicted the ride that life would take her on.
