Howie Payne is set to release the soundtrack to your lazy autumn evenings hiding from the cold with his upcoming album, ‘Mountain.’

The first since 2009’s ‘Bright Light Ballads,’ which was produced by Ethan Johns, the former frontman of The Stands has certainly proved himself as no one-trick-pony.

With first single, ‘The Brightest Star’ already having earnt Howie significant radio play on the likes of Radio X, the latest single, ‘High Times’ comes as the perfect follow-up; a three minute long indie/folk gem rich with bright, finger-plucked acoustic guitars and haunting, paper thin harmonies that hint at a rawness and vulnerability present in Howie’s voice.
