On 28th October, London born anglo-italian Jack Savoretti is set to release his fifth studio album ‘Sleep No More’ via BMG, and in conjunction with the imminent release he’ll be heading out on a UK tour throughout November in support of the album.
In 2007 Jack released his first album Between The Minds before following it up with another three – Harder Than Easy in 2009, Before The Storm in 2012 and his most recent, Written In Scars, written last year. It was this album Written In Scars that saw Jack finally get the credit he was long overdue, the album justly putting him on the top 10 breakthrough album list and procuring him a sold-out worldwide tour.
His new album Sleep No More consists of twelve tracks and opens with When We Were Lovers, and we can immediately see Jack Savoretti has well and truly found his voice as both a singer and a songwriter. The album has been described by Jack himself as “a love letter to my wife”. An album of passion and meaning, “the whole point of this album is that it’s about the stuff that keeps you up at night.”
In creating the album, Jack worked with numerous producers including Mark Ralph (Years and Years/Take That), Sam Dixon (Adele), Matty Benbrook (Paolo Nutini), Cam Blackwood (George Ezra) and Steve Robson (James Bay, John Newman and James Morrison).
November will see Jack and his band performing at 10 dates across the country in another headline tour, including his biggest show yet at London’s Eventim Apollo November 9th. He’s already released his new single from the album titled When We Were Lovers which can be listened to below.
Jack’s tour begins on the 1st November and continues until the 16th. The whole list of tour dates, along with Jack’s social media pages and links to his music can be found below. Tickets for the tour can be purchased on various sites, including here, here and here.
