North-West England singer-songwriter Jack Woodward has returned with his catchy new single ‘Higher.’

This single sure is addictive!

‘Higher’ begins with a compelling mellow tone and his clear, strong voice brings a focus on his lyrics about the need to feel alive.

His impressive vocals and inspirational lyrics provide a sense of elevation and power as the single flows from the soft, rich introduction to a great bass with the catchy harmonised chorus.

He adds how “’Higher’ came into being after really kick-starting my song-writing again about a year ago.

The track is just about feeling alive (and how someone or something can do that to you) and not forgetting to live now alongside and with the beauty of the world.

‘Higher’ really takes me out of my own head and makes me aware of the rest of the world.”

Woodward grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen and The Killers and notes Tom Odell and the Foo Fighters as his influences.

His style has evolved to a blend of energetic pop and indie rock with an acoustic element.

His sound hints the styles of John Mayer, Hozier, Jack Savoretti, and George Ezra.

‘Higher’ is available now on Spotify.

His previous single ‘Let it Happen’ gained popularity and was played on Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing.
