Their new album Integrity Blues was produced by Justin Meldel-Johnson who has also produced for the likes of Paramore, M83 and Air, and is scheduled to be released via Sony Music on the 21st October. In celebration of the release, the band will be embarking on an eight date UK tour the following month, beginning locally on the 4th November at the Southampton O2 Guildhall.
Jimmy Eat World formed back in 1993 with longstanding members Jim, Tom, Rick and Zach creating what started out as punk-rock music. With six EPs, five live albums and nine studio albums now under their belt, over the past 20 years the band has become a seasoned name in the rock world. Their music grew from the early 90’s emo scene and has since matured, evolving to include tinctures of pop on top of their characteristic emo-punk backing tracks.
No stranger to hit records, Jimmy Eat World have consistently been in the charts in both the UK and across the pond, with popular charters including tracks The Middle, Pain, Work, Sweetness and Always Be. Not only have the band received official acclaim and recognition, but their passionate international fan base is an accolade in itself, the likes of which are always excited to see the band headlining at popular festivals across the globe.
Their UK headline tour will consist of eight dates and incorporate numerous impressive venues including Bristol’s O2 Academy, Southampton’s O2 Guildhall, Manchester Academy and plenty more. For a full list of tour dates and venues, see below.
