Julia Michaels is supporting former One Direction member Niall Horan

The pop singer is touring with the former One Direction member!

American pop newcomer Julia Michaels has been announced to support Niall Horan on his UK gigs of his Flicker World Tour. Michaels will come to the UK in March and while the two are sadly not coming to Southampton, they’ll be performing in Bournemouth towards the end of the month.

As one of the biggest newcomers of 2017, Michaels managed her breakthrough when she released her debut single Issues. The single achieved multiplatinum and a worldwide number of over 480 million streams. This made Issues one of the best-selling songs by a newcomer in 2017. You can check out the song and the music video below.

Her success did not end there. Michaels recently lent her voice to Clean Bandit where she was the feature of their hit single I Miss You. The track reached No. 4 on on the UK Singles chart. She also has two songs on the soundtrack of Fifty Shades Freed that were released on the 9th February following the movie’s release on the same day.

Before she released her debut single, Julia Michaels became one of the most sought after songwriters in pop music. Together with Justin Tranter she co-wrote a whole string of hits including Justin Bieber’s Sorry,  Selena Gomez’s Good for You [feat. A$AP Rocky] & Hands To Myself, Hailee Steinfeld’s Love Myself, Britney Spears’ Slumber Party, Gwen Stefani’s Used To Love You and, most recently, Selena Gomez’s Bad Liar and Ed Sheeran’s Dive.
