Sport Solent offer a wide range of exciting fitness classes, suitable for people of all abilities and levels of fitness. The classes are open for everybody, from Southampton Main and Solent University students to members of the public.

All instructors are highly qualified and very helpful during the sessions, ensuring that you will always get the best out of your workout. The price is great too! It ranges from £3.50 per individual class for casual members, £13.00 for pay as you go monthly Bronze membership, which includes all the fitness classes. There are three main locations for the classes; East Park Terrace Sports Hall, Performance Fitness Centre which is located within Southampton Solent, and Sports Centre St Mary’s activity room.

Ranging from Circuits, Zumba and Boxercise to Legs Bums and Tums, Pilates and Yoga there is something for everyone.

The instructors are very attentive no matter how many people attend the class. They will always make sure you work hard and never give up and give amazing motivation when you are super tired, sweaty and all you want is a chocolate bar. Boxercise class on Thursdays at 5pm, is also a brilliant workout, especially when you are stressed about university work, it really helps to release the tension.

Legs Bums and Tums (LBT) is the perfect way to tone up and lose that muffin top. The instructor doesn’t accept such thing as giving up and it makes you feel so much better about yourself after the intense workout. If you’re not into too much cardio, Pilates and Yoga are great classes for body toning and at the same time, relaxing for the mind.

Other classes also available include: spinning; cycling; circuits; simply weights; body conditioning circuit and body blast. After meeting all the instructors, you won’t be unhappy or unsatisfied. You definitely get your money’s worth. Go and give it a go!
