The alt-rock veterans Lower Than Atlantis are coming to Engine Rooms as part of their longest UK tour to date.

For all of you Southampton locals, make sure you keep the 12th of April free in your calendar.

The tour has the band stopping at venues in every nook and cranny of the country, playing towns and venues they have never been before and even have a huge gig scheduled in their hometown of Watford.

For those unfamiliar with Lower Than Atlantis, the group originated in 2008 and hail from Watford. In the 10 years they have been active, they have had a total of 5 studio albums and 4 EP’s, along with a roster that has remained unchanged since 2010.

In addition, this tour comes hot off the heels of their top 10 album release Safe in Sound, as well as a headlining gig at the Brixton Academy and a UK arena tour with British rock & rave veterans Enter Shikari.

Lead singer Mike Duce says, “It’s been nearly 4 years since we did a regional run in the UK and we can’t wait to get to some towns that we haven’t even been to before. We’ve got an amazing package being announced later on too, plus a homecoming show in Watford, which will be massive. Grab your mates and get your tickets quick as these rooms aren’t the biggest!!”
