With celeb fans like Lady Gaga, Hello Kitty maybe a little more grown up than most of us believe. Its large adult fan base proves this, and that fan base in Southampton is in for a treat!
On the 25th and 26th July, the Hello Kitty Kindness Garden is coming to WestQuay and they’re coming with a positive message.
Do #OneKindThing for a stranger or someone you love
With activities from a photo booth to a VIP tipi, vintage beauty caravan, face paint, craft area, competitions, balloon making and temporary tattoos, there’s something for every Hello Kitty fan. Did I mention it’s free?
Well, free to an extent. The one charge is a small charge at best and not much to ask for.
With a city that’s seen the levels of homeless on the rise, there are plenty of kind acts that can be done.
Maybe buying someone a coffee, letting someone in the queue in front, or paying someone a compliment; even taking a small moment out of your day to give someone a little company.
Let’s help Hello Kitty in her mission of kindness. Do something kind and hash tag #OneKindThing, let the world know!
Remember, as the great Daniel Goleman once said: “Emotions are contagious”. Let’s spread some happiness.
