After fifteen studio albums, several international world tours, nine musical awards and garnering a fan base of over 1 million followers on Facebook, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are set to release their sixteenth album on the 9th September and with it an accompanying feature film called One More Time With Feeling.
Founded in 1983 by lead singer Nick Cave, multi-instrumentalist Mick Harvey and guitarist Blixa Bargeld, the group has since had 22 international members coming and going, with the current number of the group resting at 9 – the only original being Nick himself.
With the release of the album Skeleton Tree, the accompanying feature film will be the first chance to hear Nick Cave and the Bad Seed’s new music the day before it’s officially released. The film is planning to show in cinemas across the country on the 8th September.
The viewings of One More Time With Feeling – a film recorded in both black-and-white as well as colour, and in both 2D and 3D the result being ‘stark, fragile and raw.’ – will take place at 650 cinemas across globe for one night only. The movie is directed by prolific director Andrew Dominik (Chopper, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Killing Them Softly) and lasts for 1hr and 52 minutes.
