London duo NIMMO have recently released the brand new video for their recent single Dancing Makes Us Brave. Premiered on online pop blog PopJustice, the video was released to the public on 19th October and can be watched below.

The single follows their equally impressive tracks Dilute This and the more recent My Only Friend, both of which got airplay on Radio 1. The new track Dancing Makes Us Brave is a dance-pop track that touches on London’s under siege nightlife.

Despite it being a dance single, there is a sense of longing in the song that gives an emotive depth to an otherwise funky track. Of the video, Reeva and Sarah of NIMMO had this to say: ‘Dancing Makes Us Brave’ is their biggest and most dynamic single yet. “This video is REALLY special to us. More so than ever before we really feel like we took risks and approached the aesthetic with a more playful mentality.

We wanted to work with a female director and use an all female cast. The idea was imagined and developed with a very inspiring group of women from production and direction to the dancers and stylist.”

NIMMO are no stranger to success, having recently toured with the likes of Years & Years and more recently LANY. They’re now the confirmed support to popular Danish singer songwriter on her UK tour this autumn. They will also be opening for non other than Clean Bandit at The Roundhouse on the 24th October.
