In late November, Canadian born Northcote (Matt Goud) and Colorado songwriter Jon Snodgrass are set to combine forces for a whistle stop tour of the UK, a tour that will incorporate four dates in Bristol, Southampton, Manchester and London this November.

Northcote will be returning to the UK to tour for the first time since September 2015. Until now, he has spent the year touring in support of his most recent album Hope Is Made Of Steel. With a range of soulful songs, the 10 track album was released on the 25th September and his since been promoted through Northcote’s popular live shows.

2016 has been a prolific year for Northcote, with full-band and solo shows in support of both his own album and in support of fellow Xtra Mile labelmate Frank Turner on his Canadian tour.

The imminent tour with Jon Snodgrass will pave the way to an even bigger European tour which will see Northcote perform in such regions as Germany, Switzerland and Austria during November and December, with even more countries yet to be announced.

Joining Matt on the mini tour is another Xtra Mile Recordings recruit Jon Snodgrass. Jon is the singer-songwriter of Drag the River, a Country & Mid-Western Band out of Fort Collins, Colorado. Snodgrass’s Drag The River will be supporting Northcote on the UK tour, and having performed and written with the likes of Descendants, Cory Branan, Chuck Ragan, Tim McIllirath (Rise Against) and Vinnie Fiorella (Less than Jake), Jon is sure to bring a variety of music to the live shows; and between him and Northcote, the short four-date tour is sure to whet the appetite of fans for future shows.
