With Southampton’s few days of summer well underway and another warm weekend on the horizon, Soul 45 and The Stage Door are set to hold their 4th annual street party at West Marlands street with the Boogie Down BBQ.
Soul 45 DJs Mark James and Neil Walters have been entertaining the folks of Southampton with their great taste in vintage vinyl records for the past four years and will continue to do so this coming Saturday on the 6th of August with their 4th annual Boogie Down BBQ. Spinning everything from old school hip hop to disco, funk and classic motown, the duo have teamed up with The Stage Door to bring this free, independent community based event to the wonderful people of Southampton (thats you!)
The Boogie Down BBQ is being held this Saturday on the 6th of August at West Marlands street (just outside the O2 Guildhall) and will begin at 11am with an already expected 500 people to attend. Alcoholic beverages will also be available courtesy of The Stage Door‘s cocktail and cider bar and the overdraft craft ale street bar.
Keeping in trend with the soulful theme of the day, a range of soul food will be on offer, including beef burgers, prawn or halloumi kebabs, jambalaya, slaw and salad a long with other delicious dishes.
