The Dub Pistols will return to Southampton on November 18 to showcase their new album ‘Crazy Diamonds’ at the 1865.
Barry Ashworth and his troop released their seventh studio album on October 27, which showcases the band at their overpowering best.
Known for their rhythmical blend of bass, turntables and horns, the Dub Pistols have worked with some of their prime idols over an 18-year career due to the way they mash up different genres.
A flourishing mix of drum ‘n’ bass, dub, reggae, ska and punk have made the band become legends themselves, legendary enough that they were on the brink of multimillion dollar international success.
Having headlined some of Europe’s biggest festivals such as Glastonbury, Beat-Herder and Bestival with their bass-driven live set, they have burned though different members and hundreds of thousands of pounds on assorted capers and hedonism.
Proudly working class, the Dub Pistols have been smashing up venues and festivals throughout their career, and now they return to tear apart Southampton.
You can witness the swagger for yourself.
The Dub Pistols will perform at the 1865 in Southampton on November 18. Doors open at 7pm and entry is £14 in advance. They are not to be missed!
