Jah Wobble & The Invaders have announced their first live shows taking place over January and February

Jah Wobble & The Invaders of the Heart kicked off the UK tour last week at the Jazz Café in Camden Town, London, and will finish up at The Lantern, in Halifax, on the 4th of February.

The Usual Suspects was released last year. It featured brand new recordings of some of his finest solo Invaders of the Heart and Public Image Ltd (PiL). With a nearly forty years career, Jah Wobble & The Invaders of the Heart are back to bring their incredible combination of Jazz and indie-rock sound to the crowds. Treat yourself to a tease of the album below.

Featuring 23 tracks, the album was released on limited double vinyl, CD and available digitally. It includes songs like Public Image, versions of cinematic scores Midnight Cowboy and Get Carter. Also included is Dawn Penn’s You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No) which features the vocals of Aurora Dawn and a new take of Visions of You, from Wobble’s Invaders of the Heart album Rising Above Bedlam. In addition, the album was nominated for a Mercury Prize on its release in 1992. It also features two live recordings of PiL’s Metal Box record, the rocky Liquidator and Poptones.
