The influential duo Meadowlark will be playing at the Talking Heads in Southampton on October 12.
Their UK headline act will be coming to the south-coast on Thursday, along with their new prominent single ‘Sunlight’, which is Meadowlark’s latest track to be lifted from their debut album ‘Postcards’ that was released in June this year.
The Independent are quoted saying that the group, which is formed of former rock band member and director Daniel Broadley and YouTube star Kate McGill, are a “Shimmering slice of indie pop.”
The band from Bristol have had ever increasing success, their track ‘Eyes Wide’ was added to BBC Radio 1’s Introducing playlist, XFM’s Evening Playlist and it was also featured in Hype Machines Top 20.
The duet is already well-known since forming, playing at some iconic gigs such as at Glastonbury’s Introducing Stage, on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 Show, at the MAMA Festival in Paris and The Great Escape. They have also appeared on episodes of both Made in Chelsea and Vampire Diaries.
