If you’re a fan of heavy metal, laughing and large-scale food fights, then perhaps you’ll enjoy getting ‘punched in your FACE with the fist of funny’ at the first Psychostick and Green Jelly collaboration – the PsychoJelly tour. These two rock groups are unique in that they combine comedic lyrics and silly stage antics with genuinely enjoyable heavy metal rock music. The group Psychostick – hailing from Chicago Illinois with five gut-busting comedic albums behind them – and grammy nominated Green Jelly from New York are combining forces for the first time, bringing their brand new tour PsychoJelly to the UK, hitting various cities around the country with their head-banging humour.
Psychostick, comprised of members Rawrb on vocals, The J on guitars, Schmalex on drums and Matty J ‘Moose’ on bass pride themselves on combining crunching riffs and laugh-out-loud lyrics, whilst Green Jelly – comprised of 416 band members been and gone, the only remaining original that of founder Bill Manspeaker – offer, in their own words, a ‘travelling mardi gras’ of a performance rife with peculiar outfits, ridiculous theatrics and self deprecating humour.
The duo will be performing in various cities over the country, beginning in none other than Southampton at Engine Rooms on the 13th of September, before moving onto the following cities on the following dates:
