Sheppard have announced that they’re going to be touring the UK this summer! The band are a six-piece from Brisbane formed of three siblings – George, Amy and Emma Sheppard – and Michael Butler, Jason Bovino and Dean Gordon.

The band have announced they will be closing the Barclaycard Stage, directly before Justin Bieber at his headline show at Hyde Park on 2nd July. The Barclaycard British Summer Time festival in London will also see Martin Garrix, Naughty Boy and Nina Nesbitt support the Canadian artist. The band aren’t strangers to Justin Bieber, after they recently wrapped up travelling with the worldwide super-star on the Australian and New Zealand leg of his Purpose tour.

In the run up to supporting Bieber, the band have been in the studio writing and recording for the past year, to complete their second album, which is set to be released two years after their debut, ‘Bombs Away’. They have re-emerged with a new confidence, a new maturity and a new drive to accomplish the task of world chart domination.

Sheppard’s hit single ‘Keep Me Crazy’ is now available in an acoustic version and accompanied by a recently revealed video. This brilliantly stripped back version showcases the band’s soulful harmonies, and impeccable musicianship.

The original version is the first single to be taken from their upcoming second album, which will be released later this year via Decca Records. It is certainly proving to be a popular song as it passed over 2 million streams, just a few weeks after its release. ‘Keep Me Crazy’ can only be described as a fresh up-tempo pop jam with harmonization between the male and female vocals reminiscing that of Alphabeat’s ‘Fascination’. George Sheppard said, “It’s about finding wild, lasting love that keeps you youthful, enthusiastic and passionate.”

The band has recently announced two UK headline shows. The first one will be played at Glasgow’s Garage on 27th June and then at London’s Lexington on 11th July – taking the opportunity to headline shows whilst they are supporting girl group, Little Mix. Sheppard have announced they will be part of the X-Factor winners ‘Summer Shout Out’ tour this summer, kicking off at Kingsholme Rugby Club in Gloucester on 24th June.
