Next Wednesday (May 31st) will see Vukovi take to Southampton’s Joiners as part of their headline tour in support of their new self-titled album, ‘Vukovi’. The band are on their first headline tour this year of the UK throughout May and June, with many festival performances lined up for the summer. They are set to perform at Slam Dunk, 2000 Trees, Reading & Leeds and more, playing some of their biggest shows to date.
Following their breakthrough debut album, dubbed “one of the year’s best” by Kerrang! Magazine, this is shaping up to look like one of the best tours this year. ‘Vukovi’ deals with real issues, like bullying in the song and video for ‘Weirdo’ and does so in their daring pop-punk manner. The album creates an easy way to deal with these issues and that’s what makes it a great album. They’re not another manufactured band. This band know who are they are and they’re not afraid to show it.
From a Vukovi live show you can expect a night of catchy, experimental pop-punk music. They put a lot into their performance and love crowd involvement. The band don’t only play music but they try to make their shows fun for everyone and that’s what makes them unique.
With all the festival performances they’ve got lined up, this tour holds the smallest venues they’re going to be playing in for the rest of the year. Make sure to get down to one of the shows, you’re in for a great night.
