Don’t miss Southampton Game Fest- Hampshire’s only dedicated gaming event!
As with last year, Southampton Game Fest is donating a large proportion of its profits to charity. Last year the festival managed to donate 75% to Special Effect; this year Southampton Game Fest is going to help local organisation and donate Southampton Hospital Charity (1051543).
Southampton Game Fest 2015 brought in over 320 people and gained highly positive feedback. Heavily praised for the mix of competitive and casual games and friendly atmosphere- Southampton Game Fest is set up by a team of gamers with a true passion for what they do- these people have an exact understanding of what the festival attendees are expecting and will enjoy this year. However, all creative ideas are encouraged- just send them in and, who knows- maybe you could contribute to making Southampton Game Fest even better!
The festival will be hosting plenty of games, both released and the ones which are about to see the world, alongside hosting a spectacular cosplay masquerade and supporting local businesses and video game developers through providing them with free tables.
Be sure to grab your tickets as early as you can to guarantee entry and save money. Buying tickets online will also enter you into a prize draw for a boxed SNES!
Everyone that attends will get two free games for Steam. If getting two games for Steam is not convincing enough we don’t know what is…
Southampton Game fest is in a constant search for developers and publishers to showcase games, so please get in touch if you want to become partners and exhibit.
The venue of this year’s fest- the Grand Harbour Hotel, is an iconic landmark on the Southampton waterfront, centrally located with free parking, and features bars and a restaurant.
Stay tuned for more social media updates and more games to be confirmed.
